The TR42C allows you to change the flat apex into a center column for the much-needed height. This attachment increases the height of your 42 Series tripod by 15 inches. This center column has a regular 3/8"-16 standard tripod mount for your ball heads, video heads, and other accessories. Another neat feature of this center column is the twist lock collar. This secures the center column in place easily. Lastly, the integrated hook allows you to add a camera bag or sand bag for added stability while shooting.
